Montage - a complex of works performed at the site of operation of the machine, with its assembly, installation in the working (design) position, adjustment and commissioning.

According to DSTU: Installation - installation of the product or its components at the place of use. The basic design documentation on which the assembly work is carried out is the assembly drawing. The amount and content of installation work depend on the specific conditions of their implementation, which are diverse due to differences in the designs of the machines themselves, structures and conditions of their application.
In some cases, the main volume is the work on the organizational and technical preparation and installation of hoisting and transport equipment, in others - work on the assembly and adjustment of assembly units of the machine or rigging work (related to lifting and moving equipment).

Automation (from the Greek. Αύτόματος - automatic) - is a branch of science and technology, which develops the technical means and methods for the implementation of technological processes without direct human participation.

The tasks of production automation are automatic control (including automatic signaling and automatic protection of equipment), automatic control and automatic control. These tasks are solved by creating automation systems as a unified set of programmable devices of automated and automatic control, regulation and control. Automation systems are built on the basis of industrial automation devices.
